Dropping leaflets does not excuse the killing of civilians or the destruction of homes, hospitals and schools. A warning does not automatically make an attack lawful under international law, especially when civilians have nowhere safe to flee. Palestinian lives deserve the same protection, dignity and humanity as everyone elseโs. ๐ต๐ธ
๐ต๐ธ 1,100 DAYS OF GENOCIDE IN GAZA. 1,100 DAYS OF SUFFERING. 1,100 DAYS OF DEMANDING JUSTICE.
Today, 11 October 2026, marks 1,100 days since 7 October 2023.
For 1,100 days, Palestinians in Gaza have endured unimaginable suffering. Tens of thousands of lives have been lost, families have been torn apart, children have been killed, and homes, schools and hospitals have been devastated.
Yet our governments continue to fall short of the meaningful accountability Palestinians deserve.
While Australia has sanctioned certain Israeli officials and settlers, broader sanctions against the Israeli government remain absent.
How many more Palestinian lives must be lost before our leaders take stronger action?
We must continue demanding accountability, stronger sanctions, respect for international law and an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people.
Palestinian lives matter. Palestinian children deserve a future. Palestine deserves freedom, dignity and justice.
๐ต๐ธ FREE PALESTINE. END THE GENOCIDE.

Supporting Palestinian human rights does not make me any less Australian. Palestine is not Hamas, and millions of Palestinian civilians should never be collectively blamed for the actions of an armed group. As a Christian, I believe in compassion, peace and standing up for those who are suffering, regardless of their religion. Using Christianity to spread hostility towards Muslims contradicts those values. I will continue advocating for Palestinian human rights, justice and dignity. ๐ต๐ธ
Condemning the killing, kidnapping and suffering of Israeli civilians and standing up for Palestinian human rights are not mutually exclusive. I do not support Hamas or attacks on innocent civilians. My advocacy is for Palestinian children, families, healthcare workers and other civilians who deserve safety and dignity. Criticising the actions of the Israeli government is not supporting extremism. Human rights should apply to everyone, without exception. ๐ต๐ธ
@lorilyn2814@KobieThatcher Yes, innocent Palestinians. Palestinian children, families, teachers, healthcare workers and civilians deserve safety, dignity and the right to live. Being Palestinian does not make someone guilty of anything. Innocent lives matter, regardless of nationality or background. ๐ต๐ธ
My support for Palestine has nothing to do with TikTok or popularity. It comes from genuine concern for human rights, the killing of civilians, and the suffering of Palestinian families. The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry has concluded that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza. You are entitled to disagree with my views, but dismissing my advocacy as performative doesnโt change the humanitarian reality. Standing up for Palestinian lives is a matter of principle, not popularity. ๐ต๐ธ
@GMTJ182@KobieThatcher There is nothing performative about mourning the thousands of Palestinians killed in Gaza or speaking out against the suffering of innocent civilians. My concern for Palestinian lives is genuine, and advocating for human rights should never be dismissed as performative. ๐ต๐ธ
๐ต๐ธ A Peaceful Vigil, Not a Protest.
I was disappointed to see Kellie Sloane describe the recent pro-Palestinian vigil as a protest.
I attended the gathering, and from what I personally witnessed, it was a calm and peaceful vigil where people came together to mourn and remember Palestinian lives lost in Gaza.
There is an important distinction between a demonstration and a vigil focused on remembrance, reflection and grief.
People have every right to gather peacefully, express solidarity and mourn those who have lost their lives.
While political leaders are entitled to express their views, I believe it is equally important that peaceful gatherings are described fairly and in their proper context.
Mourning Palestinian lives should not be treated as something controversial. Compassion and remembrance should extend to everyone.

The evidence is publicly available and extensively documented. These are not simply unsupported claims.
Amnesty International concluded that Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, while Human Rights Watch documented acts of extermination and genocide relating to the deliberate deprivation of water.
The International Criminal Court also issued arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant over alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity.

These are credible international organisations presenting documented findings and legal allegations, not baseless accusations. Youโre entitled to your opinion, but dismissing the evidence doesnโt make it disappear. ๐ต๐ธ
@alipheesethe16@VividProwess No innocent civilian, especially a child, deserves to be killed because of the actions of a government or armed group. Collective punishment is not justice. Palestinian lives matter, and defending their right to live in peace and freedom should never be controversial. ๐ต๐ธโค๏ธ
@DreyerRina10806@VividProwess Palestinians have every right to live in their homeland in freedom, safety and dignity. They should not have to abandon their homes or condemn an entire population to deserve basic human rights. Peace requires justice, equality and respect for both Palestinians and Israelis. ๐ต๐ธ๐๏ธ
Australians have every right to mourn the innocent Palestinians killed on October 7 and the tens of thousands killed in Gaza since. Condemning the October 7 attacks and mourning Palestinian lives are not mutually exclusive. No innocent civilian deserves to die, and nobody gets to dictate whose lives we are allowed to grieve.
Compassion isnโt about left or right. Itโs about recognising human suffering. Standing against the killing of innocent Palestinians, including thousands of children, isnโt about political power. Itโs about basic human rights, justice and humanity. Dismissing that suffering doesnโt make you morally superior. ๐ต๐ธ
Historical conflicts in Jordan and Lebanon do not justify the killing of innocent Palestinians today. Egyptโs border policies are complex and do not make an entire population responsible for the actions of a few. Palestinian children and families deserve safety, freedom and dignity, just like everyone else. ๐ต๐ธ
@GrantBrowne1@KobieThatcher Whatโs actually disgraceful is dismissing the suffering of Palestinians. Tens of thousands of innocent people have been killed in Gaza, including children. Standing up for human rights and mourning Palestinian lives is not hatred. Itโs humanity. ๐ต๐ธ
Palestinians are not Hamas. They are human beings, including innocent children, families and healthcare workers who deserve to live in peace and dignity. Calling for the destruction of an entire population is disgusting and deeply dehumanising. Collective punishment is never justified. Palestinian lives matter. ๐ต๐ธ
We have every right to mourn the tens of thousands of Palestinians killed in Gaza, including innocent children, families and healthcare workers. Mourning Palestinian lives does not mean celebrating the suffering of hostages or anyone else. Palestinian lives matter, and their suffering deserves recognition, dignity and compassion. ๐ต๐ธ
Wishing violence upon someone simply because they stand in solidarity with Palestine is absolutely disgusting. I have every right to mourn the innocent Palestinians killed in Gaza. Supporting Palestinian human rights does not mean supporting violence against anyone. Your comment says far more about you than it does about me.
@lorilyn2814@KobieThatcher Palestinian lives matter every single day of the year, not just on dates you find acceptable. Mourning innocent Palestinians does not diminish anyone elseโs suffering. Grief and compassion should never have restrictions. ๐ต๐ธ
