Guardian Ape

Another hard boss with a surprise phase 2 that genuinely tricked me. This game does a very good job of making you think "yeah im never beating that" and then eventually you just do. Fun boss!

Dark Souls 2 all achievements!

Less tedious than DS1, although the grinds for Bell & Sunlight covenant really sucked.

Apart from that, great fun! I'm glad to have another souls platinum down :)

DS2 DLCs complete! These were really good overall, but they are all brought down a bit by having horrible side areas.

Burnt Ivory King is probably my favourite boss in the whole game, and yet he shares a DLC with Frigid Outskirts, the least fun I've ever had playing dark souls.

Finished Dark Souls 2! Lots to say about this game but overall I think its great! I think the hate is definitely overblown for this game, and I'm very excited to get into the DLCs 😁

@MrCooky_ I think for me it's got a better feeling of completeness. I really don't like ANY of the ds1 content post O&S, whereas ds2 had a really solid endgame (shrine of Amana aside).

I should stress that I still think ds1 is a fantastic game. it's the 4th best, not the worst 🙂
