Just sitting on your butt is not the point at all the point is, this is a heavy consideration especially for someone just comming to the point in there life that will best suit how they fit into the future ? Will the job I train for be there when I graduate from my education?. The young people today are going to have a challenging time choosing a career that won't be affected by technology advancing at unprecedented rates. It's a real problem, and it concerns me. For their future.
In addition to that a job as a mechanic in an industry that is already heavily using robots on production lines is likely to expand on that as soon as its available.
But if you already have the skills and need work it's at least a temporary fix.
