On Monday, we went out onto the playground to translate ourselves! Mathew's group played a game where each person had to get back to the co-ordinates (1,1). Some children extended their grids to include minus co-ordinates- well done everyone! #musicfederation #Windmill5W

5P are loving the #FirstNews newspapers that we read every morning! Goncalo and Imran were upset to read about the beached whale who had swallowed over 80 plastic bags. Poppy was even more upset to learn that there will be less vanilla ice cream because of vanilla scarcity!

Welcome back year 5! We got straight back to work today, using matchsticks to investigate the angles around a point. Some pupils showed fantastic effort, setting their working out clearly. Brilliant reasoning! #MusicFederation

The girls invented a game with our door protractor- here's what they say:
We were doing angles. We got the metre stick and one person would move it to each mark, the other would say stop in between two marks as they moved it. Then we estimated the angle.
