Henry demonstrating just what warm and lazy Sunday afternoons were made for.

The humans in the house are all hard at work; but then it really is a cat’s life 😂

A big thank you and a very Merry Christmas to all at Coventry Sphinx Under 11’s Girls

First outing for the new coffee mug, accompanied by a cheeky biscuit or two.

When your own U18s game has been called off; you tell Dad we’re off to Sphinx HQ and you end up as assistant coach for the U9 girls team ⚽️🧤⚽️

@Barbcox14 @StIvesCriminal Too bloody right she has. That straight forward no BS wit is coming back! Heavens be blessed.

Coventry Sphinx U11 Girls sporting their new training tops. So pleased to have been able to support them.

[Ian Windridge @WindridgeIan]

@TheRealLiamCook No they just ran away from loyal fans and the youth set up. If they can only charge £1 it shows how low they’ve gone.

One season as a Balsall Hornet. Presentation night.

It’s Saturday morning - so it’s girls footie time.

Two games this morning - U12s at 10.30 then the U10s at noon.

Here’s himself helping with the warm-up session.

[Ian Windridge @WindridgeIan]

Another good goalkeeper coaching session with the girls at Coventry Sphinx Girls tonight - 3 younger girls for the first half with emphasis on ball gathering and then the U16 in the second for a distribution session.
Ollie is really enjoying the coaching side of the game.⚽️🧤⚽️

[Ian Windridge @WindridgeIan]

Big thank you to Carl Hanson and the girls at Coventry Sphinx Girls for the invitation to tonight’s girls’ teams training session.

Ollie had a great time helping the keepers with their session. Slightly slow start, but he soon had them doing goalkeeper things.

Take two 14-year old goalkeeper-golfers, add in a new set of clubs for each - and stand back to watch.

Saturday morning, so it’s footie time.

Ollie doesn’t have a game today so we’ve come to support his goalkeeper mate CK in her game for Coundon Court U14s vs Notts County U13s.

I’m getting full analysis (and a few gasps) from himself.

@WendyWarren04 @AFCRDAcademy @jpluk @EnglandFootball Fantastic news - watch out NTFC ladies - the governor’s on her way ⚽️💎⚽️

[Ian Windridge @WindridgeIan]

Here at the “Ricoh” for a spot of Tuesday night football and the visit of Luton. The two goalkeepers next to me are exchanging Stourbridge war stories (both games went the SB way on Saturday).

Good to see that CCFC have got the girls development players as ball girls tonight.

@WendyWarren04 @KSI @natttjohnson @NTFCWomen @NorthantsFA @CovUnitedLFC Absolute tragedy. Ollie, his friend and I used to go watch @CovUnitedLFC and loved supporting them. This was the last game before Christmas:

@JayBradford91 Sad position. Loved to see your work in action. Sport in Coventry much diminished by the loss of your team ❤️⚽️💚😪

[Ian Windridge @WindridgeIan]

Shocking news about @CovUnitedLFC going into liquidation. How a team in the second tier of English women’s football can be allowed to go under in this way is a sad reflection of the gender-skewed approach to the sport.
