Update on kitchen fire in the 2600 Block of Turner Road: Fire is out: $100,000 in damages with 7 people displaced. While cooking chicken waffles in oil, the oil ignited and exended throughout the kitchen. Smoke damage to the rest of the house. No injuires. All occupants exited safely.*JS

Update on the fire in the 1500 Block of Labadie Road: Damages to the main fire occupancy (house) estimated at $500k with 1 person displaced. Damages to the exposure (house) estimated at $250k and 3 people displaced. No injuries reported. Fire started on the exterior in the rear of the house. Smoking materials and a propane heater found in the area of origin making it difficult to determine the ignition sourse.*JS

Update on the fire in the 5500 Blk of NORTH SERVICE ROAD: Investigation completed at the scene. Approximately $325,000 in damages to 2 structures, railroad specific equipment, a hydro pole and miscellaneous equipment. Cause still under investigation awaiting review of surveillance video.*JS

Damages estimates are $400k to the main fire occupancy. $75k to the exposure to the south and $150k to the exposure to the north. Information from the scene is be still being analysis to determined cause. Fire investigator has cleared the address.*JS
