"Think you'd get rid of me so easily?"
She's sore as hell but manages a smile, placing a hand on his arm, squeezing gently with affection.
"No time for a long reunion but I'm so glad you found me."
Shit.
She lowers her gun, still clutching it in her hand.
"Claire, Claire Redfield. Sorry.. I didn't think there were still any humans left around this place."

ใ คใ ค"Ellie. Elinor Rhodes."
ใ คShe puts her hands up, swift, also not interested in games, though there is her own gun in her right hand as she does so.
ใ คใ ค"Your turn."

"You kept me waiting, you know."
She moves towards him, wrapping arms around his shoulder.
"You, me, and no contact with the outside world for at least a week. Got it?"
"Dunno how crazy it's gotten since I got locked up."
She sighs, relieved now that they had been reunited. That crossed off a big worry for them both.
"You've been here looking for me.. guessing you don't have any updates either."
"Yeah, yeah. My hero."
She shoves past him and kneels, reaching for the discarded gun. It's not hers but it will do. She double checks that it's fully loaded and nods, satisfied.
"Alright, let's get the hell out of here but slow, haven't seen the outside in awhile." +
She leans forward, face closer to the bars. "If you don't let me out, I'll tell Chris. You know what he'd love to do."
She grins. "Need a weapon too, assholes took mine."
Eyes narrow but she's feeling playful despite the situation. For the moment, at least, they were safe. They could joke, for a moment.
"Come on, gunna leave your pretty wife in here? Have all the fun yourself?" +
