@clairebubblepop It's not really due to corporate greed, or the left/right. It's constant money printing and inflation targets by central banks that's transferring wealth from the average family to the wealthy
@WishboneBrewery I'm not sure if I'm getting more sceptical in my old age, but do agree this all feels a bit orchestrated.
Turning everyone on each other, so we don't focus on the unfolding shit show the central banks have been working on for a couple of decades?
Iryna Zarutska murdered
Charlie Kirk assassinated
Israel bombing Qatar and continued in Palestine
Nepal full blown riots
French protests
Russia flying drones into Poland
Talks of uk needing IMF bailout
Growing tensions due to global immigration
Things aren't good at the moment
@MacuDopa I'll email, maybe the dose. I'm on co-careldopa 12.5/50mg now; meant to do 2 tablets, 4 times a day, but find I can't take 2 at once without feeling overdosed, so have to wait 30-60 mins to take the second
@purposeful_pd Hiked 9 miles yesterday in 2hrs 45mins without so much as a stutter.
No change in meds from 9 months ago when walking was difficult and a fight against my own body. There's improvements to be made. (Taking sugar and carbs out my diet is working for me)
@planning4pubs@ilikeotters I think the point is he argued it was part of India, rather than accepting Charlotte was correct.
It's OK to be wrong. It's not OK to stay wrong.
@purposeful_pd Well hopefully you get some positive results from it too.
High sugar intake has been linked to increased risk alzheimers, another inflammatory disease. Diabetics are 40% more likely to develop PD
Too convenient? Are people with PD not as good at regulating blood sugar levels?
@purposeful_pd When I got dx (33) I was told usually people with YOPD have it because of a certain mutated gene. Got tested for it... don't have it.
Knowing the effect sugar has on me I'm fairly sure it's something to do with diet / gut microbiome causing chronic inflammation.
@Twlyn@purposeful_pd The tough bit is there's sugar in everything and hard to avoid. Even too much rice (carbohydrate that breaks down into sugar when amylase enzymes in saliva come into contact) has an effect on me.
Things I avoid:
Sugar, dextrose, Sucrose, Fructose, Maltose & maltodextrin, Lactose
