Exactly the only people who say that have kids who aren’t that good at 12z
I heard lesean McCoy say on a podcast all the DAWGS he know in the league when you look at their backstory were DAWGS in little league
Late bloomers happen but I’m not gonna hold a kid back from being great young because of lack of evidence saying he peaked early

#YellowJacketTough Congrats Fellaz!
I wanted to take a moment to show some real love to the entire @UNMLOBOS program, top to bottom.
It all started with @franks_coach . He came out to @C4SportOklahoma early, brought great energy, shook everyone’s hand, and was fully locked in on every athlete from the 2030s to the 2026s.
Later, we were driving to another school when @seancooper_C4 reminded us that we were passing by UNM. Even though it was spring break and Coach wasn’t there, we decided to stop anyway just to see what we could. Off that one interaction alone, it felt worth it.
We pulled up with no appointment, no heads up, and most of the staff out for spring break. The front desk lady even called her boss trying to find anyone available to give us a tour. There wasn’t, because the one person available was in a three hour meeting with incoming freshmen who had actual appointments.
Still, Oliver Riggle stepped up and decided to give us a private tour himself. Shout out to him. Not only did he walk us around, he showed us where the restaurants were, and he did it all with real excitement. It never felt like he was just doing a job.
He told us he wasn’t sure if athletics would have anyone there, but encouraged us to try anyway.
We went to basketball first, because he said The Pit was a must see. Everything was locked when we got there, but the director of sales, Ryan, was inside. Shout out to him too. He opened the doors and let us explore The Pit, and we even caught part of practice.
Then we headed over to football. Nobody was at the front, but on the side there was. The soccer coach pointed us in the right direction, showed us how to enter, and next thing you know we’re standing inside the stadium with an incredible mountain backdrop.
I say all that to say this, being kind takes you a long way.
all the guys I coach will have @UNMLoboFB on there list because of the way they treat people alone on top of having a dawg coaching staff!!!
