a week ago, i was on the verge of deciding to stop writing.

and if i did, that would've meant dino fam and wynroan would never be continued.

for the past few weeks, halos araw-araw ko talagang iniisip kung magpapaalam na ba ako sa inyo. (ang arte ko lang pakinggan pero promise, seryoso talaga ako.) i didn't know what to say or how to say it properly because half of my thoughts were already getting to me. lalo na with the anon hates i was receiving. i kept questioning myself, my stories, and whether i still deserved the space i was taking up.

at one point, i genuinely thought that maybe it was best to put my works to rest.

until yesterday.

meeting you guys and hearing all of you talk about the plot, about roan's past, about dino fam, about the little details i never thought people would remember—it honestly meant more than i can ever put into words. and to ate @mahalsiwonu, who was so genuinely happy while talking about everything, grabe... thank you.

for a while, i forgot how much these stories meant to other people because i was too busy listening to the negative voices in my head.

but yesterday reminded me.

it reminded me why i started writing in the first place.

because of the people who stay. the people who read every update. the people who get excited over theories. the people who care about these characters as if they're real.

you reminded me that my stories are loved.

and somehow, because of all of you, i found a little more hope in myself again.

kaya maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat. thank you for the endless support, for the kind words, for giving these stories a place in your hearts, and for giving me reasons to continue when i was already thinking of walking away.

you may not realize it, but yesterday probably saved a writer who was quietly preparing to say goodbye.

thank you for reminding me why i'm still here. 🤍
