I respectfully disagree. Saying 'I don’t mind a delay' is exactly what Infold wants to hear so they can keep us hanging forever.

A statement means nothing now. We’ve already seen them go back on their promises, so why would we believe a single word they say? They’ve shown us that their 'plans' are disposable and their 'commitments' disappear the moment things get difficult. A promise from Infold isn't a guarantee; it’s a stall tactic used to buy time until we stop caring. We don’t want a PR post; we want the character. WE WANT VALKO!

The reality is that players are quitting NOW.

This isn't a threat; it's already happening. Thousands have uninstalled and unfollowed because they’re done being toyed with. If Valko isn’t back in the game soon, those uninstalls become permanent. By the end of July, the 'mass exodus' will be irreversible.

Delaying only helps the antis. Giving them time to regroup means Valko will just get cancelled all over again later. We don't want 'assurance' or 'future plans.' We want the 6th LI in the game, UNCHANGED, right now.

Anything less is just a stall tactic to kill our momentum. Bring Valko back now, or lose the global player base forever.

While rewatching the livestream for the umpteenth time, it occurred to me that Ao Yin seems to use his evol for every kind of situation, no matter how simple, even in everyday life.

Last year, @Love_Deepspace stood proudly as a Best Mobile Game award winner. Today, I sometimes wonder whether you regret taking this game global now that players around the world can hold you accountable for the decisions you make.

Was it worth it?

Was ignoring the overwhelming feedback worth it? Was taking Valko away from players who were ready to welcome and support him worth the damage to your community’s trust?

You haven’t merely disappointed part of your domestic audience. You’ve alienated paying players across the world who once enthusiastically promoted Love and Deepspace as something special.

And what did you gain?

Players are boycotting. Goodwill is disappearing. People who once happily spent money are closing their wallets. An award can recognise what a game accomplished at one moment in time—but it cannot guarantee that the game will continue deserving that recognition.

Most painfully, countless talented creatives are caught in the consequences of decisions they likely did not make themselves—including the women whose creativity helped build a game celebrated by so many women.

Love and Deepspace was once something many players described as a safe and comforting space created with women at its heart. For some of us, that feeling has been shattered.

Your developers deserve better.
Your players deserve better.
The people whose work helped make this game an internationally celebrated Chinese creative success deserve better.

You still have the opportunity to repair this.
