Under the @NationalHways Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF), we successfully delivered complex concrete overlay works at Junctions 52-55 of the A14, one of the UK’s key strategic freight corridors. 🚚🛣️
📍 Location: A14 J52–55, near Ipswich
🔧 Scope of works:
The site was surveyed prior to surfacing to capture edges and cross points of existing lines using GPS. After new surfacing, points were marked out to align with existing joints and then connected with string line and marked with spray. Specialist contractors cut 25mm x 25mm rebate above joints and filled with N1 joint material to allow for expansion.
Our teams brought specialist concrete expertise to the site, enabling a high-quality finish and a fast, safe turnaround, keeping the A14 moving while improving long-term durability.
