I understand that Goose is struggling from the ramifications of success, but what would you rather choose?
Create a popular cartoon and deal with a weird fanbase? Or be in your 30's and still working at McDonalds and deal with weird customers?
When I was 16, all I wanted to draw was cute, weird and damn near NSFW drawings.
Now that I'm gonna be 26 next month, all I want to draw now is art for my weird, cute and not so NSFW webcomic series that only 2 people will ever read.
Since I was a kid, I've known that the only way to make a real living being an animator is to either A. Own a widely successful animation company or B. Create a widely successful animated series so you can sell a bunch of merch
Once I lock in, I'll prob be one of those under-appreciated artists who'll have a resurgence after some guy finds a book of mine after like 20 years of it hiding in a Goodwill, or I'll either gain fame when I die old-young.
I hope i'll be good enough for one of those ngl
