A sports card twitter account. In the hobby w/o break since 1988. Frequent concert attendee. Fan of things like Royals, Chiefs, OU, NBA, NJPW, AEW, BBQ & PJ.
Have time to fill some checklists today. Nearly 20k vintage Topps cards to choose from. All from 1957-75. Including lots of new '69's and '75's not previously included in what I had available. Not many stars or SP/high numbers here but plenty of quality cards for set builders. ✌
@thetayavalkyrie On the flip side, that night I was watching AEW w/ my wife who watches casually at best. She works at a gym and when she saw you she was like "who is this chic"? She looks you up... "fitness model, gymnastics, yeah that checks out". Over in this house!💪
Just found this in my PC. 1998 Upper Deck Living Legend Michael Jordan w/ Kobe. Was unsleeved since I pulled this when I was 18! 25 years ago! Looks very clean.
Just flipped on this summer league game. In the first 45 seconds of me ever watching Victor Wembanyama play he had 2 blocks, a board, contested a three, showed off his handles and hit a And-1. He is unbelievable.
I've been to nearly 200 Chiefs games. This was the hardest ticket to get. Before the online secondary market.
Guy comes up to me and says, "I don't have a ticket but my boy works the gate I can get you in for $20".
He gave me a code word to tell the guy and in I went.
Has any Red Sox player ever used "Everybody Knows Your Name" from Cheers as a walk-up song? Seems like perfect sing-a-long.
May be some fatigue with that locally though. Similar to people in the KC area feelings about Oz.
@MHLayton I went to the 2015 ASG in Cincinnati. Paid the extra bucks to sit in the OF in left for the derby. Todd Frazier winning the derby was one of coolest moments I have been a part of.
@RunningOZ watershed17, macar4748 and mxa528 also take advantage of lack of tracking scans associated with ebay standard envelope and file claims. They just don't go to extreme of leaving feedback. 🙂
@AskeBay, user jasti4109 is now well over 100 negative interactions in the past 30 days including over 60 claims of lost mail. Every rep I have spoke to said it is extreme and have scheduled a call with a supervisor that has yet to come. I need help.
Everyone else please block.
To be clear, this buyer has claimed over 60 items were lost in the mail. Another 30-40 items were damaged in the mail. Then goes out his way to leave hateful feedback for those who don't refund him.
