Employee ➡️ Agency Founder ➡️ SaaS Founder. Sharing the ups & downs of my journey with radical honesty as an ADD entrepreneur, husband & soon-to-be father.
The future of online workplace collaboration isn't:
Pure synchronous - ie: Slack
Pure asynchronous - ie: email
It's asynchron-ish
Whoever marries async, sync and voice notes has a great shot at building a top 5 workplace communication app
1st time founders, grab some 🍿
2nd time founders, this one’s for you: What’s one thing that’s obvious to you now, that you would tell your first-time founder self.
@devvnomad Use it every day! This is obviously extremely helpful for refining the UX, but the downside is that I often want to implement “nice-to-have” new features that would benefit me even if they aren’t necessary for your core product.
This reminds me of a mind-blowing system dynamics engineering course I took in college. If there's one thing it taught me, it was to be skeptical of any model predicting exact behavior of a dynamic system.
Ceteris paribus does not apply to reality-conditions are never equal.
A double pendulum demonstrates chaos theory, tracing its unpredictable path
The dependence on initial conditions, and sensitivity to variation is one of the fundamental properties of chaos
This is commonly referred to as "the butterfly effect,"
As much as I enjoyed Step'n, the gamification was working too well on me and I decided to eliminate the distraction & cash out. Still plan keep an eye on it to see if they can figure out the mechanics to avoid a total ponzi collapse, but need to focus on BUILDING not playing!
As a web3 dev, it took me 4 months to find my first job 💰
But it can be hard to get into web3 without a strong portfolio.
Here are 4 projects you can add to your web3 portfolio in less than a week.

Wingify turned 12 today 🎉🎂
My investment into it: $10 domain name + $10 hosting.
Today: $30mn ARR, profitable, 300+ people, proudly bootstrapped.

@ZakRoyzDev Congrats on the milestone! You showed up in my feed under the startup topic, so the hashtags must be working. Your product sounds cool-I'll definitely follow along!

The 3 Rules of The Mom Test:
1. Talk about their life instead of your idea
2. Talk about specifics in the past instead of opinions about the future
3. Talk less, listen more
These are critical to conducting customer conversations. Like many things, still a WIP for me.
@zeeshaanmajeed Excited to follow along & learn from you on your journey! I'm eventually going to try to build an audience with this account, but right now just trying to establish a habit of tweeting / building in public. Best of luck!
Maybe you could level up to a certain point via consistency, popularity & other non-financial metrics, but to unlock higher levels or additional features, you'd have to integrate payment accts to prove earnings / share revenue.
Bullish on the "X-to-earn" model of web3 games.
In the same way that @Stepnofficial incentivizes users to build healthy activity habits, I am optimistic that web3 founders will find ways to reward any positive habit you desire.
(Write, build, give, serve, learn, etc.)-to-earn
A user could level up on the platform through popularity of content, consistency of sharing, revenue generated, etc.
If the fastest way to level up was through revenue sharing, it would give people status in return for integrating their stripe & sharing a small % of revenue.
