In 15 hours from now, Stage 2 of my $50,000 Trackmania Tournament with Red Bull takes place ๐ There will be matches all day to crown the top 8 players, who qualify to the Grand Finals May 16th.
Matches are gonna be insane and you should totally watch it live :) Very excited!
Buckley has been my editor since the start of WirtualTV and he carried a huge amount of the content on the channel. Massive W for the videos and the effort you put into your work๐
Big vouch for any creators looking for an editor! I'm really thankful to have had him on my team
Almost, 5 years ago, I joined the WirtualTV team. Since then, I made over 400 videos for the channel with a combined total of over 180,000,000 views.
I've thought about this for a really long time and it was a difficult decision, but I've decided to leave the channel to pursue something new. I know some of you know me as The WirtualTV Editor, but I hope you get to know Bass and Campbell a little bit more now that I'm not hogging all the attention. You'll still see me around for a little bit longer and I hope to continue seeing the Trackmania Community somewhere in somebody's Twitch chat. <3
By the way, I am looking for work, and you should hit me up if you are looking for a video editor/manager for your channel.

The markings could not have been added before Vyse, since he was the first person in the upper relieving chambers after the pyramid was built. He blasted a tunnel using dynamite to get access. And he immediately documented what he saw.
There's also wood pieces found by Dixon in the sealed queens chamber shafts, closed at construction of the pyramid and unopened until he discovered them in the ~1870s. Also carbon dates to the same era.
Since people keep asking me about this. No, it's not even close to being real
At a quick glance,
the scientists behind this are the same team who believed they found 2km deep pylons beneath the pyramid of Khafre using Satellite Aperture Radar. No proof exists to back that up at all.
Pic 1 - For this new find they used the same technology. But before scanning, they first did some cute geometry based on the Dream Stele to determine where to look. It should be noted this tablet was written ~1000 years after the Pyramids were built at Giza.
The Dream Stele is symmetrical with 2 sphinxes on it. Therefore symmetry must be important to find the second sphinx.
Pic 2 - They therefore drew a line from the Sphinx to the pyramid of Khafre, and then a parallel line (of longer distance btw) out into the desert from Khufu's pyramid and chose that as a place to scan.
They argue that the reason line A is longer than B is due to the bigger footprint of the Great Pyramid. Okay I suppose?
They never explain why they linked the Sphinx to Khafre in the first place. There is still no consensus as to which King the Sphinx was built for.
Pic 3 - In the scan they find some fissures and voids (in limestone, top 10 most porous rock of all time) and they claim the 'Second Sphinx' now exists with 80% probability - based on nothing really. Maybe they just liked the sound of the number๐ค
Craziest thing to me was that they didn't compare their underground scan data with scanning the actual Sphinx to see if it's similar. Which seems like the obvious first step if you're going to make such an extraordinary claim.
Most disappointing is seeing news sites publishing these things without any verification at all. Please do better๐
@BenMonroe1 Good take. Absolutely would be exciting if they find something in that location. I just wouldn't bet on it when they're already making speculative claims
There is red ochre paint done by the workmen above the Kings Chamber which dates the Great Pyramid to Khufu. These were written in Cartouche form, not hieroglyphics, which is correct for its time.
Graham Hancock and others have tried to claim that Howard Vyse forged his discovery of these in 1837 so he could get more funding for his work - since they need the Cartouches to be fake for their theories to make any sense. But they are real. They've even found new ones very recently which Vyse and Perring didn't spot at the time.
Another point of proof is that the mortar they used which holds the stones together contains charcoal from wood - and can therefore be radiocarbon dated to the Old Kingdom.
You also have the Diary of Merer, a logbook of a captain who wrote of sailing from Tura to Giza transporting stone for Khufu.
I could go on.. but if you've decided to believe for the sake of it, I don't think the number of arguments will change your view. We know the pyramids were built by the Egyptians, and roughly the time of construction as well.
The Ministry of Antiquities in Egypt has approved digging for an endoscopic camera to take pictures of the Big Void this year. So no they are not against exploration when the science is sound.
I am not against these guys digging a hole in the desert to look for what they found. But to claim they found Sphinx 2.0 based on nothing makes me doubt they will discover anything at all
Me and @AnnaCramling are doing a charity fundraiser stream for cancer research tomorrow at 5:30pm CET!
We're going to be doing fun challenges in both Trackmania and Chess - so hope you guys come check it out and support the cause :)
