WISCOMP (Women in Security, Conflict Management and Peace) marks 25 years of pioneering work today in amplifying South Asian women's leadership in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and public policy—especially in regions affected by violence, marginalisation, and social upheaval.For a quarter century, WISCOMP, established under the Foundation for Universal Responsibility of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, has quietly reshaped South Asia’s peacebuilding landscape—training women leaders, bridging divides, and bringing gendered insight to security and conflict.
