‼️🚨Breaking News (leaking secret letter)

MACL has blamed MNDF for the drone failure, saying that MNDF’s signal jammer caused the drones to fall. They told the police this version and has sent a secret letter asking for an investigation but without mentioning MNDF’s name. In that same letter, MACL said that if the fault lies with the gov (which includes both MACL and MNDF), they might have to pay a large compensation to the contractor, which is Dubai based SKD (Turkish owned), also an associate company of Event Maldives Midhath and DMD Lammaan.

But MNDF didn’t do anything. If MNDF Special Protection Group had turned on any jammers, the drone software would have detected it immediately. The system is built to log any interference and disconnection and this would be visible in the drone flight records. If a jammer or similar interference had happened, the drones would have automatically gone into autopilot mode and landed at their pre-set landing points. They wouldn’t have flown aimlessly over Hulhule’ and the ocean.

Also, if there had been jamming, Dhiraagu and Ooredoo cell towers would have picked it up but no such interference was recorded, confirmed by tech team of both Dhiraagu and Ooredoo.

MACL’s own IT department reviewed the drone data after the incident. The logs clearly show the drones crashed because there was a disconnection between their access point and the drones themselves. It had absolutely nothing to do with MNDF jamming.

If it had been a super windy night, there was a real chance that some drones could have fallen onto the crowd. That would have been a major safety incident. Thankfully, that didn’t happen.

MACL selected Dubai-based Turkish company SKD for the drone show and agreed to pay them $1.3 million, even though many American and European companies were ready to do the job for just $700,000. They picked SKD cause the company is linked to Event Maldives and Midhhath, making it easier for commissions to be arranged. That wouldn’t have been possible with American or European companies.

The drone company is not a good one. Their website lacks proper info and they didn’t even request MACL to switch off radar systems during the show, something any professional drone operator would do. This shows how unprofessional and unprepared they were.

By blaming MNDF for the failure, MACL is setting up to pay millions in compensation to SKD, collecting commissions through Event Maldives, Midhhath and DMD Lammaan.
