I'm the state flag of Wisconsin. I've got a lot going on. I'm kind of a mess and not very good at my job. Please replace me. (unofficial parody/snark account)
I thought about migrating this account elsewhere but TBH the joke has kinda ran its course and I don't have much new to say.
If anyone else wants to assume the mantle of WI State Flag on another platform, you have my blessing. But fans of this account should know it's not me.
@DiabolicalSpuds OK, first? They're regressives, not conservatives.
Second? They understand it perfectly, they just pretend not to because whatever they have that passes for an ideology is contingent on them convincing themselves that THEY are the aggrieved ones.
Trump defying a 9-0 Supreme Court decision is the reason I say "if we still have free and fair elections in the United States" when I talk about 2026 midterms.
@Flagged4Content@madelinekaz The first and third stripes merging together before tearing away from the rest of the flag represent tech bros merging with white nationalists to tear the country apart
@Flagged4Content@madelinekaz The 24 stars represent their cult leader’s peak approval rating. The split flagpole represents the forked tongue with which he speaks.
2246: Look, I don't think you're gonna sell a lot of flag merch with this design, but at least it understood the assignment.
896: "I didn't understand what was wrong with the current flag, so I barely changed it."
200: Monochrome North Korea
I'm not in LOVE with any of them but 9 of them are better than the current disaster
4669: Worse Ohio
4321: West Indiana
4220: Mushy, off-center France
4129: I can't explain why but it gives me "city flag" vibes instead of "state flag" vibes. But overall I kinda like it.
FLAGGING: The Illinois State Flag Commission has selected 10 finalists for the state flag redesign contest. Voting will open to the public in January. Here are the designs that made the cut out of nearly 5,000 entries:
3754: Probably my favorite in this list but it maybe leans a little bit too much on Chicago for its identity and I could see the rest of Illinois not feeling it.
3679 and 2752: Woefully uninspired. Not a fan of putting the map of a thing on the flag of that thing.
