Ruin LORD OF THE RINGS in four words.

The prison and psychiatric industrial complexes both operate from a carceral logic that is centered around the belief that if you do not comply, behave, perform, or act the “right” way, your body is not yours + someone else gets to make the decisions about what happens to you.

[Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez @AOC]

Imagine having the ganas to go home and ask minimum wage workers to support you after going back on your own documented stance to help crush their biggest chance at a wage hike during their longest drought of wage increases since the law’s very inception. Sin vergüenza.

@ellle_em Sing + whistle in key.

I'm not tone deaf;

I can bloody hear I'm off the mark, I just can't seem to nail the correct tone. _-_

[Jimmy Palmiotti NYCC TABLE L13-14 @jpalmiotti]

Some black and white line art from AMANDA CONNER. Her work is very deceiving in its simplicity. A lot of people used to dismiss her work, not understanding comics are about storytelling first. These pages tell a ton of story- even without word balloons.

There’s always that old tweet

I'm hear for this.... though that mesh top... * shudders in memory of the year June-bugs were abundant * At 65mph small things make some big welts. #AlsoBeeInYourBraSucks

[Autumn Poison Ivy @autumnivy3]

I know we are all hating the new Gotham City Sirens but I must say Ivy on a motorcycle looking like this is hot and I want to see this more often.

Childhood.
I consumed books like that at such a rate that there was one librarian that would bend the rules & let me check out an extra 2 books if she was working that day.

[David M. Booher @davidbooher]

Who’s familiar with Encyclopedia Brown?

Was it a childhood thing or did you learn about it later?

[Maeve Baruk @WitchyWriterMae]

@Diana_Hignutt * huge huge huge hug offered*

You have my full sympathy. My gene donors didn't tell my siblings+I when either of our grandpas died. We found out when the older sibling stumbled across one obit & then googled to see if there was an obit for the other one :(

[Maeve Baruk @WitchyWriterMae]

@RecalcitrantOwl @arrrugula Wholly on par meta image with that propose scene setup

[Maeve Baruk @WitchyWriterMae]

This is a sad day :(

One of the few good thing about my gene donors was the varied & good tates in music. Bio-dad frequently listened to Jazz while fixing the cars as I assisted {to much chaos, I knew my way around wrenches by the time I was 6 >:) }

R.I.P. Chick Corea, June 12, 1941 – February 9, 2021. Here he is playing electric piano with Miles Davis on trumpet, Wayne Shorter on saxophone, Dave Holland on bass, and Jack DeJohnette on drums in France in 1969.

[Maeve Baruk @WitchyWriterMae]

@RecalcitrantOwl @arrrugula I liked 2049, but soooo much room for improvement
* cough Leto didn't need to be in there at fucking all cough *

@MyKidsMomBB8 @BreeNewsome They do have quite the knack for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory

#DnD #Witch

I have an idea to try for spells+resource management.

#Spoonies will get mild deja vu... or slight anxiety.

I need to flesh out the idea more before I commit to it enough to have someone else ruminate on it.

[Maeve Baruk @WitchyWriterMae]

I started working on the idea of a new class for #DnD

To create something that doesn't play like a sub-class w/ a Malleus Maleficarum spit shine.

Down side is I'm rusty enough that I need to go relearn Wizard, Warlock, Sorcerer, Bard, Druid, & Rogue

[Maeve Baruk @WitchyWriterMae]

#DnD #Witch

I want this Witch class to have a fundamentally different approach to the play style. Wildly powerful, but requiring a bit more thought on the long term, a different relationship to learning + material use.

Feeling guilty about free time is a product of some sick conditioning.

[Maeve Baruk @WitchyWriterMae]

I don't know, but it's directed by Uwe Boll,
& the art director: Rob Leifeld
