@prismaticwhench And I can say with it years behind me now, someday it’ll be so far in the past that you can barely even remember the pain. It’s temporary and the reward is lifelong
a major problem with "male socialization" is the conflation of two things that come apart in the case of trans women: (i) the violence meant to turn "boys" into men and (ii) the success of that process. attempted male socialization does not always lead to being "male socialized."
They literally do not advocate for anything for us women. Bunch of narcissistic selfish psychos. Instead all they’ve done is infringe on our rights and space, never cared to consider how we feel n want everything about them. And now they want us to fight for them. Fucking weirdos
When anti-choice protestors picketed Pride a few years ago, it was trans women who crowded them and got them to back away. Those same trans women were videod by the protestors, and had our provincial police force post their names and faces with a wanted sign for “harassment”
TERF goes & harasses & films a random store employee about change rooms and he tells her they have lockable individual ones & refers her to company policy so now they are after him like rabid dogs. doxxing him, being homophobic, and trying to get him fired. It’s a sick community
The vast majority of trans activists show material support for the struggles of cis women. The fact that a lot of us are immensely frustrated by how one-way this solidarity often is does not indicate we want to stop, or that we consider ourselves a rival or even separate struggle
