@CyrusAdemola Two things can be true.
Apst Peter that was with christ and Jesus promised him that the church would be built on him wasn't taken into the heavens. Apst Paul was taken into the heavens.
You need not criticise people for their own encounters.
Kudos to her.
However, Finland has been either 1st or 2nd consistently for almost 15 years in quality of K12 education.
Guess what age students start school?
Btw 5-7. Usually 6 years old.
Canada ๐จ๐ฆ thought my 5-year-old was special. Nigeria already prepared her.
One of my girls was 5 when we landed in Canada. In Nigeria, she would already have been in Primary 1. She could read and write simple sentences.
Her first months in a Canadian school shocked everyone. Not just because of her Nigerian accent. They were stunned she could actually read and write while her classmates were still learning letters and numbers.
She started winning awards. They made her read to the whole class.
As parents, we were not celebrating. We saw what was happening. They were slowing her down. Our biggest fear was that they would make her forget her maths.
So we did what many Nigerian parents abroad eventually do: we got a teacher from Nigeria and added IXL. Thank God we did. Years later, she is still ahead.
I still donโt understand why Canada waits until children are 5 before teaching letters and numbers.
Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ starts earlier. That early foundation is not โtoo much.โ It is an advantage. Do not let a slower system erase what your child already has. Bring the standard with you.
Nigeria is 66years old.
Before US turned 100 year most PUBLIC universities were either Zero or low tuition.
This is the attitude of a country that wants growth.
N1 million per student per year is the honest price of a functional Nigerian public university in 2026. The subsidy that has kept it lower for a decade is why the library ceiling still leaks. Say the number, then price the scholarships to close the gap for the students who need them.
@Tomi_Tomero This is the reason I folded up my start up.
I can't pay what big companies will pay, not because I don't want to buy because I can't.
And I can't watch people do my work anyhow.
Except you have funding it's a hard journey!
@sledge_baba Exactly what came to my mind.
Because why would reporting be the first thing.
At least tell your own husband and establish a motive first.
@Holarmikhunley@Rxbremen Correct!
That is a very important distinction I standby.
However, that is not Chicken republic's fault.
What they pay is well within the confines of what the law permits
Finland and Denmark top the K-12 ranking for overall quality of education and child development.
Children don't start school till 5 and 7 respectively.
But a one year old is doing arts and craft ABI e dey tear book (paper mache)
โMy daughter is homeschooled, and itโs not cheap. She also does arts and crafts with another teacher. Her teacher said she would start reading by age two, and I think Iโve done well as a mom.โ โ Toke Makinwa
@TheTunmike You think presidential democracy is the only form of government?
Even Nigeria didn't start of as a presidential democracy, we started as a parliamentary democracy, which means if we didn't change, we would have had one head of state that will last ages.
These things are no new
