JOINT STATEMENT: The SRCs of UCT, Wits, UJ & SU stand united against exorbitant accommodation costs and the destructive NSFAS accommodation cap. We demand its removal, regulation of accommodation pricing, and the immediate announcement of the 2026 NSFAS rates.
We heard your concerns, and we acted. Following sustained advocacy by the Wits 104th SRC Administration, the Interest-Free AOD signing period has been extended. Self-funded students only.
