We also reminded farmers not to consume or sell animal products (meat, eggs, milk) right after treatment. Drugs may still be in the animal’s body, and this can contribute to AMR and harm human health.

Assign specific workers to deal with animals. Sanitaze hands and use disinfectant footbaths before and entering sheds. This help to reduce the cycles of microbials.

We are honored to introduce Ms. Mercy Mumo as a distinguished Facilitator and mentor for the Youth NTDs Fellowship 2025.

Ms. Mercy is a passionate communications specialist from Kenya with years of experience in development, digital, corporate and behavior change communication.

Her work with DNDi enhances the development of strategies in the fight against NTDs and hence disseminate communication collateral and curating digital campaigns on NTDs.

Her expertise on communication will benefit our fellows and will get a chance to understand how to effective communicate ideas regarding one Health and NTDs hence bring impact to the community.
