Wizardry Sphere explores what it means to develop wisdom in the present and emerging world. We draw creatively from both ancient and modern sources.

My endeavour to articulate wisdom through Wizardry Sphere is exploratory. All writing is. I do not know where it will lead, or what exactly I will find, though I know enough to travel it well.

Writing is thinking on paper or a screen. It is exploratory, investigative, inventive. Take that away and replace it with a machine that produces all the answers, and you have lost your ability to discover, to imagine, to create.
We have lost poetry,
we have lost destiny,
we have lost depth, natural wholeness, and dignity;
we have lost beauty, wit and whimsy;
we have lost language, myth and history
from the public square.
Where are the wise mavericks of the dawn?
Where are the epic adventurers? The heroes? The powerful noble kings, who will return our world to wholeness, natural legendary wholeness, so that our descendents will look back to us with awe, inspiration, and respect?
Vision is destination.
Action is destiny.

Long before churches stood across Scandinavia, there were people who sought answers in a very different way.
They walked away from the firelight.
Away from the hall.
Away from family, friends, and the noise of daily life.
Then they sat alone in the darkness.
The Old Norse called it útiseta - “sitting out.”
Loquilian, the Alacritous Fox is my novel about wizards.

Are we humans anything more than a collective dream, made real by the shared limits of our imaginations and abilities?
The real world arises from the common ground of every being’s and every thing’s subjectivity, yet only individual uniqueness shapes.
"We are such stuff / As dreams are made on, and our little life / Is rounded with a sleep."
– William Shakespeare, The Tempest
Perhaps more than ever before in human history, humanity is less aware of the stars. Our evenings are spent looking at glowing square boxes under roofs and artificial lights.
Space is deep, old, and vast—while we live in fleeting moments. Our common heart aches for knowing ourself as one people among an infinite unknown.
