There's good news and bad news. Let's start with the good news. The smoke will be clearing out later today as a warm front tracks northeast. That will create a gusty southwest breeze and push the smoke northeast. The bad news, more smoke is on the way this weekend. #wiwx

Well, just like yesterday, somewhere in here is the flag pole. It's even harder to find this morning. The good news, a warm front southwest will push the smoke out of here by midday. Bad news, a cold front will pass through tonight and usher in more smoke for the weekend. #wiwx

"Very Unhealthy" to "Hazardous" air quality continuous to occur in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan this morning. This will be the theme as high pressure keeps the wind calm. Make sure to take proper precautions if you have to be outside today by wearing an N95 mask. #wiwx

Smoke will start to clear the area Friday as a warm front tracks in from the southwest. Humidity levels will climb, but the winds will also turn out of the southwest. The winds will be key to pushing the smoke out of here. We may get a small wave early Saturday morning. #wiwx

We have another day of thick wildfire smoke in the Northwoods. It is creating "very unhealthy" to "hazardous" air quality in the Northwoods. We'll hold onto the smoke today as the winds go light. The winds start to pick up in general out of the south tonight into tomorrow. #wiwx

The wildfire smoke is really showing up on the visible satellite picture. It gets thicker the further north you go. In addition to reports of people going to the hospital for breathing issues, in the U.P., some people have witnessed ash falling from these fires. #wiwx

As we approach the 11 AM hour, looks like AirNow is getting some of the data flow back in order. Air Quality is in the "Very Unhealthy" to "Hazardous" levels across the Northwoods and U.P. There's a measuring site at the Forest County Potawatomi. #wiwx

Air Quality Advisories remain posted as a result of wild fire smoke that continues to push into the state. Air quality in the Northwoods and the U.P. is considered unhealthy for everyone across the board. Duluth and northeast Minnesota is considered very unhealthy. #wiwx

The wildfire smoke has moved in and it is causing air quality problems across the region. Air quality advisories have been posted across the state as a result. Please limit time outdoors if you can. Breathing too much of this smoke in will cause issues. #wiwx
