The government is keen on ensuring the revival of our business environment, and reducing the cost of doing business is our priority.

Today, I spent time with the Technical Working Group on Energy and Energy Tariffs to review the incredible work they’ve done this week. Their achievements are perfectly in line with the aspirations of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).

We are working on practical solutions like removing barriers to Time of Use tariffs, supporting our Jua Kali sectors, County Aggregation and Industrial Parks (CAIPS) and Special Economic Zones (SEZ) to ensure that doing business in Kenya is affordable and sustainable.

I urged the team to maintain this momentum. The road to economic transformation requires diligence, and I am confident that the fruits of this hard work will be seen very soon by all Kenyans.

Together, we are building a more competitive and inclusive economy.
