Today the band will once again be leading the No Surender ABOD for the annual Shutting of the gates celebrations in the city on Saturday, we wish everyone visiting Londonderry a safe and enjoyable day
Today we unveiled the memorial to our dear friend and former band member Bobby Stott, who was murdered by the IRA in 1975. Thank you to everyone who attended and to all who donated. Your support means so much to the band, the Stott family, and our community.
On Sunday 23rd November at 2pm, The band will join family, friends & the community for the unveiling of a commemoration to fellow member Bobby Stott, murdered in 1975 by the IRA.
All are welcome at the top Fountain carpark, near the former Stott family home.
At the 11th hour on this 11th day of the 11th month. We will give 2 minutes of silence to remember those who gave their all. The time in 1918 when the guns finally fell silent along the Western Front. We will remember them.
The William King Memorial Flute Band had the great honour of leading the Waterside Royal British Legion to the cenotaph this morning.
