So last week @alexadevs took down the wifi helper skill until I remove the QR code. I replied that without QR code the whole skill does not make sense, since I was forced to remove text or voice output of credentials years ago. But that does not change their mind.

So here is the next round of escalation: after removing the output via voice I must not show them on Display nor on a card for the App.

I removed the text - not sure if I may keep the QR Code with those days (then the Skill would be dead!)

@BegabterGast IOS 16 wird daran aus dem Stand wohl nichts ändern - aber mein Urlaub war schon mal sehr produktiv, brauche aber noch etwas.

Letzte Woche in der Ferienwohnung erstmal alle Geräte ans zur Verfügung gestellte WLAN gebracht.

Dank AirPrint Support der @Kodak Automaten der @rossmann Fotowelt, sollten die nächsten Urlauber auch ohne App weniger Mühe haben.

@BegabterGast Soviel schaff ich nicht zwischendurch - wenn dann eher in den (NRW) Sommerferien. Wenn man für die Kinder Urlaub hat und die dann im Bett sind.

@BegabterGast Ich bin den Code noch einmal durchgegangen - iOS fragt die App alle 300s wie mit dem WLAN umgegangen werden soll.

Darauf hab ich keinen Einfluss - nur was ich bei diesem Aufruf dann tue.

Ich werde die App wohl von grundauf neu schreiben, wenn der Code sich nun anders verhält 🙇🏼‍♂️

@coronawarnapp Gibt bestimmt einen Hoch-/Sonderbegabten der QR Code lesen kann.

Spätestens beim prüfen der Signatur per Kopfrechnen hätte Ich da aber meine Zweifel… aber wäre doch ne tolle Wette für @wettendass gewesen, oder?

Da bin ich mal wieder froh, dass ich (abgesehen von der “Teilen mit dem @alexa99 Skill Option”) die Daten immer nur direkt an das Ausgabegerät bzw. den Empfänger sende.

A few weeks ago I ask again, why some features are not allowed anymore for my skill, but still available on others (announcing a temporary PIN and presenting the #WiFi credentials als text on the screen, next to the #QR version)

@otazi And by the way on a modern #magenta router you do not need to point on the back, because it is sharing the credentials on the front via #nfc
