Global media made a big mistake by spreading rumors about "arming Kurdish forces against Iran." This needlessly put the Kurdistan Region's security at risk. Sadly, local Kurdish media just copied the news without thinking about the dangerous consequences.
A message to our media channels: Right now, we need you to be a calming voice. Verify the facts before sharing and avoid scary words. Honest journalism brings peace, not panic.
