✨In game 1, Senior Lyla Turmell was the winning pitcher who also had 2 hits including a home run. Juniors Makenna Kresbaugh and Shaela Byrnes and Sophomore Madi White each had a hit.

✨In game 2, Sophomore Madi White was the winning pitcher striking out 4. Senior Lyla Turmell collected 2 hits, Sophomore Olivia Frellick had a hit and played great defense. Junior Jenna Kallen also had a single. Jr Makenna Kresbaugh and So Aubrey Kresbaugh each hit a home run.

A former player called me last night. Her coach had just been let go, and her big question was:

“Should I enter the portal?”

So I asked her one thing:

“Are you happy at that school?”

Her answer: “Yes.”

My response was simple:

Then why transfer?

You already earned a starting position your freshman and sophomore years. Why wouldn’t you be able to earn one again next year?

Whether you stay and play for new coaches or transfer and play for new coaches, the reality is the same: you still have to prove yourself and earn your spot.

So if you’re happy where you are, why leave?
