Athletic trainers are required to maintain Emergency Cardiac Care certification, which keeps them current on latest CPR and AED recommendations. Many ATs are also certified to instruct these course and teach their coaches, patients, and other colleagues #NATM2024
National Athletic Training MONTH!!
Day 6: Make sure to check on your ATs and take care of the people that are taking care of you! Lots of ATs put families on the back burner…coaches may have 1 or 2 teams, while your ATs can have up to 16 at HS level! Take care of your people!
Athletics trainers are champions of inter-professional communication. Regular contacts include physicians, S&C, dieticians, administration, coaches, PTs, professors/academic advisors, nurses, physician assistants, sport science, counselors/therapists, and many others #NATM2024
It’s more than the hours of rehabilitation, of prevention, of taping ankles- it’s about relationships! THIS is why we do what we do! We want to make sure the overall care of the athlete is taken care of!
Respect: Jason Kelce had the #Eagles' athletic trainer of 13 years tape him before his retirement announcement because he couldn't be there for Kelce's last game due to undergoing chemotherapy...
This is tremendous. Wow.

A facial fracture is one of the conditions athletic trainers are taking care of #FromHeadtoToe.
What MOI have you seen cause a facial fracture in your practice?
It's March, which is also National Athletic Training Month!!! We greatly appreciate the work our middle and high school AT's do for all athletes! @ConsolHS@CSHighSchool@AMCMSBobcats@csmsknights@Wellborn_MS, please be sure to thank your trainers when you see them!
