Péter Magyar: "Ukraine is the victim of this war. Everyone knows that. No one should tell Ukraine under what conditions it must enter peace or sign a peace treaty. We cannot ask any country to give up its territory. If they do, they would be considered traitors."
March was a historic month for the Army of Drones. 35,300+ enemy casualties and 151,200+ targets hit — a record-breaking performance.
For 4 months in a row, russian losses have exceeded their replenishment rates. We are on track to our strategic goal: 50,000+ per month.
It tickles me that the other day we had a video of Ukrainian soldiers in a position. Notably alive. And people said that doesn't count as proof of control. But now we have a video of a Russian literally committing suicide and those same people are like "Russia advanced."
Dobropillia direction.
The situation continues to be stable. Russian casualties remain very high while moving in groups of 2-4.
No armor is observed.
Indeed, an increase in Russian infantry quality is observed: their movements are more controlled and planned than before, but they are still unable to reach Ukrainian positions before getting struck and destroyed by FPVs, so for now this is not worrying.
The territory is open, and this, together with a lot of drones, gives the Ukrainians a good kill zone.
Good news for many: in recent months, tension and unease have been growing behind the Kremlin walls, along with a rising sense of internal distrust. This year might bring plenty of leaks and internal infighting.
Witkoff said that during yesterday’s call, Putin assured Trump that Russia is not supplying Iran with data for strikes.
Well, if Putin said so, then it must be true. That’s definitely the truth. Russians have never lied.
Ukraine’s 425th Skelia Regiment says its assault units broke Russian defenses in southern Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, advanced more than 10 km and captured the village of Ternove. The fight has already started for villages further south. We will publish a detailed map tonight. #Ukraine
Russia is facing a new reality of the war. A common message from Ukrainian defenders is 'we can breath now'
1) Starlink disconnections still cause issues for russians; I am seeing reports of Russian drone pilots communicating via radios more and more. There are often no live video streams; instead, they verbally explain what is going on over radio frequencies
2) Infantry shortages continue to pile up. While on paper the recruiting numbers haven't changed much, intimidation tactics such as prosecutions, or threats of rape and murder, have less effect now, as infantry chances of survival are much lower, and knowledge about it is much more widespread
This is good news for Ukraine, and the front is much more stable.
These conditions open a new opportunity for Ukraine; we will see how the situation develops further.
Do you remember that very night -- the night before the day of all days, four years ago?
How many of us didn’t sleep at all.
We sat in the dark in silence, in front of our laptops, refreshing news feeds.
Here was Blinken saying the invasion was inevitable within the next few hours. Here was Zelensky speaking in the middle of the night in Russian, pleading with all Russians to come to their senses at the last moment and not take a fatal step.
Here was the news that the runways of Ukraine’s largest airports had been blocked with overturned vehicles.
We sat with Flighradar24 open. Here at 1 a.m., over northern and eastern Ukraine, an American drone was making multiple circles, monitoring the massive Russian grouping on our border from Belarus to Crimea.
A plane seemed to have taken off, evacuating Turkish diplomats. They must have been among the last ones... Russia had closed all airspace along its entire border with Ukraine later on.
In journalists’ chats, hundreds of colleagues just as sleepless. “Guys, be ready… it seems like today.”
But hope, of course, died last.
Maybe today it would pass. Maybe it was still a bluff and blackmail, because that would be logical. They couldn’t possibly go through with such madness. It would be a catastrophe of biblical proportions and a bloody slaughter in which it would be impossible to win. They couldn’t fail to understand that.
And then -- “live” on Russian TV (in reality, of course, everything had been recorded well in advance as part of a pre-invasion propaganda performance) -- Putin’s face, distorted with sadistic hatred and a smirk of gloating, announcing the “special military operation.”
What is there to say, four years have passed since that night.
If someone had told me then that four years later independent Ukraine would be at the forefront of the entire free world,
fighting alone on equal terms against the full military power of Russia,
with the Ukrainian flag over every regional capital that was free from occupation that night,
with Ukrainian-made drones and cruise missiles that smash Russian oil refineries, airfields, and giant military factories every single night
— I would never, ever have believed it.
And yet, through unparalleled heroism and enormous sacrifice, fighting Ukraine has changed the course of history.
She disproved all the arrogant skeptics who were burying her alive back then and giving her no chance, already ready to run and “negotiate” with yet another deranged maniac hungry for blood and territorial grabs.
Glory to Ukraine!
Zelenskyy: US promised Europe licenses to produce Patriot missiles — then refused
Germany now has no air defense missiles left to give Ukraine. Zelenskyy says it didn't have to be this way: "There were promises of licenses, but America ultimately did not go along with it"

Russian military source Rybar reports that Ukrainian formations launched an attack near Stepnohirsk on the western flank of the Zaporizhzhia direction along a front about 20 km wide. It says Lukiianivske came under stable Ukrainian control and remaining Russian units in Prymorske were cut off after swift Ukrainian advances between Prymorske and Stepnohirsk toward Plavni. #Ukraine
In light of President Trump’s recent statement that Russia wants to make a deal and that Ukraine will have to move, I want to give you an update on the current state of affairs for Russia.
1. Severe infantry shortages. Over the last couple of months, Russia has struggled to carry out any meaningful or tactically significant assault operations. A key problem is the low quality of recruits, which results in understaffed assault units.
2. Last year’s tactical successes around Pokrovsk and Hulyaipole were achieved largely because of severe fog, which exposed a number of weaknesses in Ukrainian defensive tactics that have since been mostly addressed.
3. Ukraine is currently conducting several successful counterattack operations in the south and rolling back Russian gains.
4. The Russian troop strategy is “complete the task and die,” according to a friend who is fighting. It is a borrowed-time strategy, and that time is running out.
In summary, Russia is bashing its head against the wall of Ukrainian defenses, and moving to appease Russia makes zero sense now.

The IOC has banned not the Ukrainian athlete, but its own reputation. Future generations will recall this as a moment of shame.
He simply wanted to commemorate fellow athletes killed in war. There is nothing wrong with that under any rules or ethics.
The IOC intimidated, disrespected, and even lectured our athlete and other Ukrainians on how they should keep quiet about “one of 130 conflicts in the world”.
The IOC has also systemically failed to confront the greatest abuser of international sports and the Olympic Charter — Russia.
A country that started three invasions during the Olympic Truce in the past three decades, implemented the largest state-funded doping program, killed 650 Ukrainian athletes and coaches, and damaged 800 sports facilities in Ukraine.
These are Russians who must be banned, not the commemoration of their victims. None of them are “neutral”.
If the Olympic Creed says that “the most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part”, then @iocmedia betrayed it completely by preventing @heraskevych from taking part and betrayed 650 Ukrainian athletes and coaches killed by Russia.
We are proud to have Vladyslav who has not betrayed them. Thank you for your principles and bravery.
