I’ve decided to include weekends in my work schedule until my queue is caught up.

I feel bad having people waiting for a long time and I’d rather just try to make everyone satisfied by thugging it all out.

for anyone waiting on comm updates, my hours are 9am-4pm EST every day.

I work Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm EST. I will not respond to DMs about commissions or updates outside of this time bracket.

I'll be getting DMs at 2am about commission updates, and while it's not their fault that they aren't aware (or it could be a time zone issue), this tweet will make sure that everyone is up to date on my workflow moving forward.

if I don't respond to you immediately, I'm not ghosting you. chances are I'm either asleep, or caught up with other obligations that prevent me from messaging everyone at once. I am only one person and am doing the best I can.

As a queer Black furry sometimes it really irks me how it never feels like I have a proper outlet for my interests, or even how I've carried myself and my mannerisms culturally.

it's almost like everything has been gentrified to absolute extremes over the years. there's times where I wake up and feel like my own identity is lost in the sauce. I'll be told by my non-furry POC associates that they "don't care what I am" but in the same breath share their disdain for a subgroup that I also associate myself with.

then I come to the furry space and I just feel so... out of place. it feels like there's ignorance on either side ranging from oversaturated political opinions, to witch hunting people for misunderstood scenarios, hate posting for the love of the game, blatant racism, etc.

I'm forever in a code switching paradox.

fighting games were one of the only hobbies I have left where I feel like I could unapologetically express myself in ways that don't require the need for cultural overtones. I could just press buttons well and keep it pushing. but even that is starting to show its age with the push of online culture and its untamed cynicism. it's getting way too expensive to travel offline just to feel something again.

I'm not sure what to do. idk if being just an artist only is going to solve my sunk cost fallacy with fighting games, but I also don't think I can take another mental breakdown episode either, where I don't feel welcome in either space
