What is critical to note about Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation is the fact that it was one which was done with zero accountability. Just the “anti-national elements” will take over, so to stop the protest I’m resigning.

What I think really spooked the government was the fact that it was showing signs of widening. They needed to stop the protests before that happened in the first place.
