Some anti #Pakistan social media activists are spreading videos of peace committee members ( belonging to MI ) and claiming that they are #TTP and not attacking PakArmy convoy passing nearby.
Let me explain this
Peace committee members are looking similar as TTP members.
There is a reason behind it . It is local culture to have long hairs . Long hair isn’t Islamic culture, it is Waziristani local culture. Both TTP and peace committee members are from same tribe . Their dresses resembles.

And why peace committee is important
There are 2 types of terrorists .
1 are real radicals terrorists who have problem with current Pakistani Govt . They know politics and they are very dangerous as they are ideologically terrorists but they are not many in numbers . Barely 3 out of 10 terrorists are ideological terrorists.
While all others are effected by local culture and trend the region. They are going with flow . They just like to fight , no matter what is the cause . They are less dangerous. They can easily be directly or indirectly brandished and make them quit the terrorisms. Peace committee is working very well in that regard. All those jobless people who like weapons and war , are mostly joining peace committee and hense they are no more considered as threat to public Pakistan. They can easily be sent to Afghanistan to spy on Afghan Taliban activities as they previously fought together against US forces .
And they have strong human intelligence networks in the region as they are locals and can provide pinpoint information about terrorist activities .
They can easily pretend to be TTP members to arrest facilitators of TTP .
