I have a conspiracy theory :

Modi knew there is massive anger and anti-incumbency building up against his government.

So he orchestrated this entire protest.

He brought Sonam out of jail & propped up some new faces like Abhijit Dipke & others.

This entire protest was manufactured by Modi to just let people vent their anger out.

Now, Modi will bring some laws against paper leak & most probably going to remove Pradhan or change his ministry.

Next general election is 3 years away.

It's better to have a protest now than to have just before the next general election.

People have short memory.

They will forget this.

More than 2,500 people have been detained across Kashmir following the killing of a police head constable in Anantnag, while the homes of two suspected local terrorists were demolished during the crackdown.
