According to Kaori Arimoto’s own past posts, she had two friends who were retired members of China’s People’s Liberation Army, and she also wrote that many of her friends were Party members or former PLA personnel.
Arimoto is now a senior administrative figure in the Japan Conservative Party, a political party with seats in Japan’s National Diet.
For someone in such a political position, these past relationships with people connected to the Chinese Communist Party and the PLA deserve a clear public explanation.
