“Thank you! Nice to know such an experienced photographer likes my rookie work. I’ll get them to you asap.”She took a deep breath before announcing the news. “I’ve decided to leave the peace corps & come back to Arcadia for good.. which means we can go on little trips together.”

As soon as Kristine turned the phone around to show him the photos, Nathan pushed himself off the wall and stepped forward for a better look.

"Hey, you've got talent! I'm digging these shots. Send them to me, will ya?"

He looks up from the phone. "What's the big news?"
