Kpop agencies have begun measures to prioritize local fans for Seoul tickets and this triggered backlash among overseas fans.
Recently, Stray Kids upcoming concert split its round for fan club presales, for Korea-based fans, followed by global. This measures also done by HYBE and SM Entertainment previously. It's is said that Korean fans have been demanding such measures for a long time, stating that the complaints are not only about scalping, but also availability for local fans.
However, this cause strong backlash from international fans, who argued that this measures was discriminatory because they paid the same membership fees and there's no prior notice regarding the split of the presale access.
What's your take on this?
