I woke up this morning and thought “the season is over. That’s it.” #SaintsFc

And it feels so unsatisfactory and hollow - all those months traipsing up and down the country by fans, players and us for what ?!?

I can’t begin to imagine how let down supporters, staff and players must be feeling

And I can’t begin to imagine where you start rebuilding and convincing everyone to go again in August.

That will happen of course, but a lot needs to happen to make it palatable and something to look forward to - a hell of a lot of

Just hope my new favourite Cyle Larin is fit for four more games! Not the most stylish but his effort and work rate while them tractor boys desperately tried to pull his shirt off, which the tosser of a referee simply ignored, was top class!

Find it hard to be particularly angry about tonight. The performance wasn’t very good and there were some things you definitely could have done differently, but it’s not normal to expect to win eight or nine or 10 games in a row. You’ll always have off days, or you’ll get things wrong or opposition will find a way to stifle you. The precarious nature of the situation meant Saints perhaps couldn’t afford an off day, but it’s 20 games unbeaten and an incredible run to even be in this position. Showed plenty of fight to come from behind twice and we’ve seen enough of that over the last few weeks. Eventually it’ll catch up with you, the intensity of the schedule and the demands, and maybe it did tonight. It looks like it’ll probably be play-offs now but as long as they can respond to this they’ll have a serious chance of winning them. Would have snapped your hand off to be in this position a few months ago. Wembley next, can’t complain!
