Gorgeous is three years old and hefted to the uplands around Walna Scar. Born on Anthony Hartley’s farm, she is the World Champion Herdwick. Herdwick fleece does a good job of keeping sheep warm on the fells and those hardwearing properties create carpets that share this quality.

To keep things calm for Gorgeous, Amy @Croftfoot brought her studio, complete with lighting, to the corner of a barn on the farm. The main challenge was showing the fleece at its best while achieving accurate tones for the two carpet shades.
