The snow is turning to more ice at my house now. There’s going to be pockets of several forms of non-liquid precipitation for the next few hours. Sometimes snow, sometimes sleet, sometimes freezing rain/ice. It’s going to be best to stay off the roads tonight, please be careful!
NEW | We’ve increased the forecast snowfall totals across the Big Bend and South Georgia.

1/19/25 A rare WINTER STORM WATCH has been issued for South Georgia and the Florida Big Bend from TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING. Accumulations of snow and ice are likely, but the forecast will very likely change at least a bit before then. Stay tuned for updates!
The core looks like it’s on land in Taylor, and some of the strongest wind and rains are contained in the N and W part of that core now interacting with the Jefferson and Wakulla Coasts.
