Yesterday, 13 July 2026, was supposed to be a significant day for the Statutory Independent Inquiry into Grooming Gangs. It was the day, according to the Inquiry's own Terms of Reference, that they were legally required to publish the criteria for selecting investigation areas. They didn't do it.

The deadline passed without a word about the criteria.

Instead, they filled the day with three other announcements that appear to be nothing more than a smokescreen to distract from their failure to meet this vital deadline.

But you don't mind a sitting MP not serving a sentence handed down to her in another country despite the PM always banging on about adherence to international law.
And if you can't see the hypocrisy of that, Dan, you have a massive screw loose.

And despite what you allege, there is absolutely no evidence that Lucy's tweet stirred up racial hatred, riots, or anything. Those riots would have occured notwithstanding her deleted tweet.

And, really, you know she only pleaded guilty because her solicitor advised she would more than likely not get a custodial sentence if she did so. That's the actual facts of the matter which you choose to ignore.

And while I'm on the subject, why is an apology for nasty tweets by Labour MPs like Streeting who tweeted about burning a property down deemed acceptable but Lucy's apology isn't?

I was in Jersey last week. Their east coast is only 14 miles from France. 7 fewer than Calais to Dover.
And yet...I wondered...why don't they get dinghies full of young men coming across?
Because they intercept them, pick em up, lock em up, and return them to France...a safe country.
With the full backing of UK Border Force.
So why don't we do that?

The actual establishment is panicking and flailing. They want speech shut down. They don’t want to be questioned or opposed. They’re running scared as weak authoritarians from the fear that the Public is not backing their game any longer

Shabana Mahmood's new "safe and legal routes", allowing hundreds of thousands of refugees and asylum seekers, sponsored by mosques and NGOs, to settle in Britain, is based on the 2023 Fabian Society proposal, Lawful and Fair: Building A Better Migration System.

The paper prohibits deportations and says that democracy does not mean "that every policy must command a majority" of public support.

Sponsors will receive taxpayer subsidies to support the migrants, and migrants must repay £10,000 in housing costs — but this can come from benefits, also paid by British taxpayers.

This is while they are given brand new homes in small villages, despite the Home Office admitting that they pose a threat to schools and nurseries.

Mahmood also quietly reversed the ban on illegal migrants gaining British citizenship, saying it was "outside their control" that they paid a people smuggler to ferry them to Britain.

Immigration policy is a crucial part of their gradual socialist revolution. It is why Labour will never respect the public's wishes to see immigration stopped and reversed.

The next government must commit not just to sending everyone imported via this scheme back, but to stripping citizenship from illegal migrants and the Boriswave.

Otherwise, we will be stuck with these people, and their costs and crimes, forever.
