I didn’t study Computer Science.
I didn’t go to an engineering college.
I didn’t have a tech background.
I didn’t have a big team or funding.
I had a problem I personally experienced.
So I started learning, using AI, building, breaking things, fixing them — and repeating the process.
Today, the product I started from that idea has reached 12,000+ users.
It taught me something:
You don’t always need the perfect background to start building.
Sometimes you just need a real problem and the courage to try.

Is ChatGPT getting slower lately, or is it just me? 👀
I've been using ChatGPT for 3+ years, and I use it almost every day for my projects, coding, research, planning, and building products.
I know pretty well how fast it normally feels.
But for the last 2 days, I've noticed a big difference.
Responses are taking much longer, image generation sometimes gets stuck, and occasionally the work just stops.
Meanwhile, Instagram is full of people generating thousands of AI images — especially these “1980s” photos. 😂
Maybe it's just temporary server load. Maybe something else is happening.
But as someone who uses ChatGPT heavily for actual daily work, this slowdown is becoming a real problem.
Anyone else noticing this? 👀

Building WorkerMeet taught me something I didn't expect.
Having a good idea is only the beginning.
You have to build it.
You have to explain it.
You have to convince people to try it.
You have to promote it.
And when something doesn't work, you have to fix it and keep going.
I didn't have a big team or a big budget.
I had a problem I personally experienced, a laptop, the internet, AI tools, and the willingness to keep learning.

Later, I started doing daily-wage work, including coconut climbing.
And I faced the same problem again.
Work was available, but most opportunities went to people who already had contacts.
Someone would call a worker they already knew:
“I have work today. Come.”
But if you were new to the area and nobody knew you, you could be sitting in your room even when work was available nearby.
That was the problem I couldn't stop thinking about.

I didn’t build WorkerMeet because I had a business plan.
I built it because I personally experienced the problem it is trying to solve.
I’m from Assam, and I came to Kerala looking for work.
I studied up to Class 12, but because of my family’s financial situation, I couldn’t continue my education. Like many others, I had to leave home and come to another state to earn.
What happened after I arrived in Kerala completely changed the way I looked at employment in India.

When I first came to Kerala, I spent more than a month looking for work.
I moved from place to place, asked friends, stayed with someone for some time, and kept searching.
Eventually, I found work at a company.
But then I discovered something that stayed with me:
The company had actually needed workers for a long time.
The work existed.
I was looking for work.
But we simply didn't know about each other.

I started thinking:
Why does a worker have to wait in a market hoping someone will come looking for them?
And why does an employer have to depend on personal contacts every time they need someone?
What if a worker could simply create a profile and show what work they do?
What if an employer could open an app, see workers nearby, check their work and contact them directly?
And if they needed workers, they could simply post the job.
