So many devs at @DevGAMM came up asking how in the world this was inspired by true events

- it was 2020, lockdowns in Seattle
- I had a 48ft boat and next to no experience in operating it, a vanity project I wanted to do since a kid
- you can live on a boat if in lockdown because it’s technically your home
- packed up food, water, my PS5 and went onto explore the San Juan islands of Washington State
- felt like the apocalypse and surviving on a boat from what you can fish, catch via crab traps, and scavenge from coming to shore
- had to draw my gun once when some drunk kids in a stolen boat started circling and antagonising, it was a whole ordeal with cops involved
- had to carefully manage survival with water and waste management
- fell in love with the islands, one of the most beautiful and serene experiences in life
- had to fight off a few zombies (addicts)

Inspiration comes from experiences. You never know which ones.

My name is Steve and my terminal disability should have ended me in my first years of life. But somehow, I'm celebrating 44 today. I've done what I could with the cards that were dealt to me: being in a power wheelchair on a ventilator and barely able to move, hasn't stopped me from raising awareness for gamers with disabilities and millions of dollars for charity over the last 20 years.

On my birthday each year, the only present I ask for is your help reaching out to the people I idolize doing really cool things in the world. @marshmello's music has gotten me through some really rough times of depression and feeling like this world just wasn't meant for me. I'd love the opportunity to work with him on something cool to inspire others not to give up when life seems too overwhelming to keep pushing forward. None of us choose the way we are born, but we can choose to leave the world better than we found it.

I started on injectable migraine meds. Haven't noticed a difference but it seems I won't till at least the second month, typically the third. I hope it helps 🤞

So haven't updated this thread in forever. Sill dealing with shortages. Pharmacy said by April they should be good. Nope. Still getting shorted meds when I can find them they usually have 20-25 for a thirty day supply. Upped my dosage to 40mg oh generic is out if you can find it.
