The average freelancer spends at about 20 and more hours a month chasing payments. that's basically a part time job just getting paid for your actual job.
Something really need to change
I have been thinking a lot about why no one has properly solved freelancer payment protection. An escrow exists but it's expensive, slow, and someone still decides who gets the money. There has to be a better model.

LFG! ๐
Imagine if your rent worked like freelancing. you live in the apartment for a month, then the land owner decides if they feel like paying you back. That is how it feels from clients to freelancers daily.
If you are a freelancer, get ready for contracts and jobs, grow your reputation, and be recognized for it
If you are looking for someone with a reputation to hire, we have got that for you too
It's about that time for what has been cooking to get done. Everyone will be tasting of it soon.
A DAO body resolving dispute on @Stacks ecosystem, built by @AgeNeutral What everyone hopes to see, is becoming a reality.
Most freelance platforms let a single admin decide disputes ๐ฌ. With WorkShield, I built a DAO powered system where the community votes instead. Let me show you how the contracts work ๐ 1/7
For the past few months, I've been building WorkShield - a fairer way to handle freelancer payments and disputes.
We're almost ready to ship the first version built on @Stacks ๐งต๐
