WorkTree-OS

Stop guessing. Start trading with data.
Advanced analytics, risk management, strategy testing & prop firm tools.
Your trades, your data, your edge.

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

A trading journal tells you what happened.

Your data tells you WHY.

Your edge comes from understanding the difference.

Win rate means nothing without expectancy. Profits mean nothing without understanding drawdown. And consistency means nothing if you can't repeat it.

Stop guessing. Start analyzing.

Your trades. Your data. Your edge.

@SamVale29 https://t.co/cbK4ziJvnY. hit me i can take it.

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

@SamVale29 That's a solid observation, Sam. We're working on improving the mobile experience and conversion flow right now. The goal is to let traders experience the platform before asking them to commit. Appreciate you taking the time to look at WorkTree-OS.

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

I'm a full time mechanic building a trading analytics and risk management platform, WorkTree-OS, on the side. One thing trading has taught me is that desperation and discipline don't mix.
When your rent depends on your next trade, you're no longer trading your setup. You're trading your circumstances.
The market doesn't care when your bills are due. Protect your capital, keep your income, and earn the right to trade full time.

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

I'm building WorkTree-OS while working full time as a mechanic. I spend all day fixing other people's problems, then spend my nights trying to solve problems in my own product. Even when I'm not at the computer, I'm mentally redesigning features, thinking about users, or figuring out what needs fixing next.
I started building this to create freedom, but somewhere along the way it became the thing I can't switch off from.
If you figure out how to turn that switch off, let me know. Apparently mine didn't come installed. 😂

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

@tradercams The problem isn't taking $200 profit. The problem is abandoning your plan and then judging your decision by what happened afterward. If your system said hold for $800, trust the system. If it said take $200, that's a successful trade. Discipline matters more than hindsight.

@SamVale29 https://t.co/cbK4ziJvnY. well that gives it away though

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

@_Littlebull @TheH0n3stTrader And that's why I keep a close eye on the landlord. Risk management pays the rent, consistency builds equity, and the runners fund the retirement.
We're about to turn this trading strategy into a real estate portfolio.

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

@AthenaRiseX Exactly! The market doesn't know what my daily goal is, and it damn sure doesn't care.
My job is to execute my strategy, manage my risk, and know when to walk away.
Sometimes the best trade is the one you never take.

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

@_Littlebull @TheH0n3stTrader Now that's a trading philosophy I can get behind!
The partials keep the lights on, the runners build the empire.
Just gotta make sure the drawdown doesn't foreclose on the damn house first.

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

That I could actually do it.

I'm a mechanic by trade. I've spent most of my life turning wrenches, not studying financial markets.
For a long time, I thought trading was something people with finance degrees and Wall Street backgrounds did.
Turns out, you don't need a fancy degree. You need patience, discipline, a willingness to learn, and the determination to keep improving.
I just wish I'd believed in myself enough to start sooner.

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

The trades nobody sees are often the ones that matter most. The setup you passed on, the revenge trade you didn't take, the day you walked away because your rules said you were done.
But discipline alone isn't enough. You need data to know whether that discipline is actually producing results.
Trade. Record. Analyze. Refine. Repeat.

Your trades, your data, your edge.

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

Start with clearly defined entry, exit, and risk rules. Test them against historical data without changing the rules every time something doesn't work.
Track win rate, profit factor, expectancy, maximum drawdown, and sample size.
Then forward test in simulation before risking real capital.
The goal isn't to make the backtest look profitable. It's to find out whether the strategy actually has an edge.

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

Backtesting isn't a scam. Believing a profitable backtest guarantees live profitability is the mistake.
Backtesting helps establish whether a strategy has a statistical edge. Forward testing helps determine whether that edge survives real market conditions.
Slippage, commissions, execution, and psychology all matter.
Without testing, you're not trading a proven strategy. You're trading an assumption.

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

I've passed quite a few prop firm evaluations, and I'll disagree with this one.
An evaluation isn't a race. It's a test of whether your strategy can meet the objectives while respecting the risk limits.
Passing in two days doesn't automatically make you a better trader than someone who takes three weeks.
The real test isn't how quickly you get funded. It's how long you can stay funded and consistently collect payouts.

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

I've paid enough tuition to the market to earn a damn doctorate.
The difference is whether you actually learn something from those losses or keep paying for the same class over and over.
That's why I believe in tracking every trade, studying the data, and figuring out exactly where you're going wrong.
Tuition is only worth paying if you're getting an education.

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

@_Littlebull @TheH0n3stTrader Well, now we're speaking the same language! That's exactly my approach. Secure profits, reduce exposure, and let the runner work.
Funny how those participation trophies suddenly started paying the electric bill.

Guess we agree on more than we thought.

[WorkTree-OS @WorkTreeOS]

I trade my own strategy called ARE (Adaptive Range Engine) on MNQ. I use the 15 minute chart to establish my session range and execute on the 5 minute.
I'm also developing a separate strategy for ES to capture the momentum moves my current system misses.
The hardest part isn't finding a strategy. It's having the discipline to follow it and knowing when market conditions favor it.
