With the start of the new #Valorant Act, I’ll be stepping away from the game for an indefinite period.

I still love the game and what it can be at its core. But the lack of willingness from the developers to revert Patch 11.08 and focus again on what made this game special has been frustrating, to phrase it in a polite way.

Valorant was about superheroes combining abilities with gunplay. Right now, it feels more like superheroes playing with a handicap.

On top of that, the esports scene keeps getting lazier and more entitled. Nepotism matters more than actual merit, creative ideas get shut down instantly and the community feels like it is getting worse from patch to patch when it comes to critical thinking. At the same time, other games feel more rewarding right now.

I will still be working with @UnionAtta as an analyst and advisor. I will also finish two smaller projects I have been working on. More about those projects soon. Apart from that, I will ignore anything Valorant-related tho, till the state of the game gets drastically better.

I am grateful for the amazing time and the incredible people I got to meet through Valorant ♥ This is not a goodbye forever, rather a see you soon!
