@authorblues @Abyssoft It's not exactly a metroidvania, it's an exploration and mechanics discovery puzzle game. It's very good but if you play it you should absolutely play the PC version rolled back to before the 2016 update, which added a lot of unwelcome guidance to a previously textless game.

@Mr_Weables If it makes you feel any better about the early game puzzle you were stuck on, your first solution was completely right, you probably just triggered the fail state. The minibosses are even worse than the bosses imo.

@Blechyman In a way what would be more interesting for La-Mulana from a casual perspective (remake at least gets very complicated with all sequence breaks, glitchy or otherwise) would be a graph of what you need to solve to get all the hints in addition to actual requirements.
